Luxury trains
On your way to royal Rajasthan, what really embellishes your journey is the fervor and enthusiasm of the travel that you so enthusiastically dream about, think about. What adds spice to the epicurean pleasure of reaching your destination is the travel you embark upon. The cool and misty wind fondling your hair, the trees bidding adieu with their arms held up high, and the road travelling incessantly to lead you to your stop, these intricate but yet simple enjoyments are worth a remembrance. In addition to that, one can hardly make – do without the mouthwatering delicacies that your travel has to offer. But those which make your tour even more special are the dream trains or the luxury trains which magnificent and diacritic Rajasthan presents to you in its regal style.
MAHARAJA EXPRESS
The most expensive luxurious train in Asia, the Maharaja express depicts the regal stature of Rajasthan. Voted the ‘world’s leading luxury train’ twice in a row at the world travel awards 2012 and 2013, the maharaja express mainly centers around Rajasthan. The train comprises of 23 carriages, of which 14 carriages are available for accommodation with a passenger capacity of 88. Ornate designs and world-class furnishings incise awe in the passengers. So we, at Rajasthan Aamantran, have tried our best to present to you an artwork of Rajasthan tour’s luxury and mesmerising reality. But don’t you think a firsthand experience would be far more enticing than feeling it vicariously? If you do, then wherever you are, Rajasthan is not far away.
PALACE ON WHEELS
Welcome aboard to the virtual ride of the dream wagon, the manifestation of your fantasies in a solid iron-steel body. This train of dreams is the most sumptuous reality of those stories that any raconteur would have narrated about a ‘journey to remember’. Starting its ride from Safdarjung station, Delhi, our chariot of dreams, known world over as the “Palace on Wheels” was derived from the Royal background of coaches, which were originally meant to be the personal railway coaches of the erstwhile rulers of the princely states of Rajputana, Gujarat ,the Nizam of Hyderabad and the viceroy of British India. The world’s fourth most luxurious train takes you on a seven day trip across Rajasthan and Agra, the stop at each destination being an abstract memorabilia in itself. The Rajasthani ambiance prevailing in the fourteen coaches of the train (each blending culture with luxury) lure the travellers in a way where the experience of travel to Rajasthan is in no way inferior to the semblance of Rajasthan itself.
ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS
Modelled on the ‘Palace on Wheels’, Royal Rajasthan on wheels is another feather in the cap of our travel to Rajasthan. It follows the same route as the palace on wheels, and comprises of 14 luxury cabins and two dining coaches, ‘Swarn Mahal’ and ‘Sheesh Mahal’,very much like the former(whose two restaurants are named ‘Maharaja’ and ‘Maharani’). In addition to these, a souvenir coach offers you various handcrafter products and apparels .A spa coach is a recent addition to the train.
