Kota is not just the educational hub of Rajasthan. It holds in its vicinity a rare treasure of a vibrant wildlife and plant-life. Adorned with beautiful flora and fauna, the Darrah Wildlife sanctuary is another addition to Rajasthan’s spectacular tourist attractions. The sanctuary is a combination of three wildlife sanctuaries- the Darrah Wildlife sanctuary, the Jaswant Sagar Wildlife sanctuary and the Chambal Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is spread over a hilly terrain and flaunts its association with regality in a vivacious manner, as it used to be the hunting grounds for the kings.
The park plays a host to a number of wild animals and birds, some of which are the panther, wolf, sloth bear, chinkara, leopard, spotted deer, wild boar, bears, sambars and antelopes. It is also the abode of a number of reptiles. Trekking and jungle safari are quite popular adventure sports among the tourists.
The Darrah wildlife Sanctuary is surely a great place to be on your trip to Rajasthan.
