The palace is named after the king who commissioned the construction of the palace, Sajjan Singh. Adorned in beautiful white marble, the palace was initially constructed to serve as a tourist resort for the royal family as well as a watch tower to keep track of and view the sundry monsoon clouds. The palace is a treat to the eyes at night as it is illuminated in traditional Rajasthani style, with ‘Jharokas’ and beautifully carved out pillars that add up to the exquisite beauty of the palace.
